Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia
Bondi Beach, my favourite place in Sydney. Only 14km from the city centre, a city beach like none other. It’s my sanctuary, my place to get away from it all. My place to recoup, rest and be creative. It’s also my canvas.

Can you sum up Sydney? It a big beautiful city with everything one could possibly want out of a large metropolis. It has loads of amazing beaches along the coast close to the CBD, coastal walks, parks with rain forest. The mountains are close for hikes and only a 4 hour drive to the ski fields in the winter. Every suburb has a different feel. Most are very village like and self contained with cafes, shops, restaurants and services. It never gets boring in Sydney.
Preoccupation: Beach Reflections
A perfect day in Sydney? A sunny day with temps in the high 20’s (C)
If someone was visiting, what must they do? Go on the harbour and coast walks.
A perfect meal? Fish and chips at the wharf in Watsons Bay while watching ferries come in and sail boats cruise by.
What is the best thing about your spot? It feels easy.
What is the worst? Christmas and New Years Day. There are too many people on those days to enjoy it.
A little known fact about where you live? The area used to be swamp, wetlands, scrub bush lands and sand dunes before white people arrived.
Where is your favorite place in the world? Apart from Bondi Beach, my favorite spots are tropical beaches anywhere.
