Can you sum up Lennox Head? A sleepy little seaside village 15mins drive South of the iconic Byron Bay. I was born in Byron Bay and Lennox Head reminds me of what Byron Bay was when I was a child.

Occupation: Social Media Security, Privacy and Risk Consultant.

Preoccupation: Photography, Travel and writing.

A perfect day in Lennox Head? Everyday

If someone was visiting, what must they do? Go to Seven Mile Beach and then walk across the road and have a rinse off at Lake Ainsworth it is a freshwater ti tree lake. You and your skin will feel amazing. Walk the headland track from Lennox Point (Pat Morton Lookout) around to Boulder Beach – spectacular.

A perfect meal? A summer afternoon BBQ at The Lake or oysters and a steak upstairs at the local pub.

What is the best thing about your spot? You can see all the way to Byron Bay and it is a spectacular place to watch storms from or just sit and feel the power of the ocean and realise how small we are in the scheme of things .

What is the worst? It gets a little hectic over summer.

A little known fact about where you live? Some of the Brahminy Kites (sea eagles) that live along Seven Mile beach have been tagged and have lived there for more than 40 years – they are spectacular to watch when they for and afternoon fish.

Where is your favorite place in the world? Boulder Beach – when I die I want my ashes scattered from the headland.

Who are your three favorite photographers? I cant name just three so I will name three friends that are exceptional, Alex FringsSara Lee and Samuel Smith.
