City is My Playground by Nicola Cher Geismar in London, UK

I am a movement artist who creates physical graffiti around London. I take direct inspiration from the city I grew up in, to flip the way people view and experience their city. I use the street furniture, such as walls, lampposts and doorways to strike a flex (pose) which I then capture through a still image. The city is the canvas and the street furniture are the tools.

Tell us about the place you live:

London is a mix of old and new. Stunning architecture, open spaces and a blend of some top quality music, cultural and arts events. Love the mutlicultralism in the city too.

A perfect day?

To seek out wall backdrops, interesting street and lampposts and strike a flex with them! Also love the southbank and the views along the river and bridges.

What is the best thing about London?

In summer, London rockstar mini-festivals and events take place nearly every day all around the city.

What is the worst?

The tube in every season. Always so busy!

What would be surprising about London to an outsider?

The fast paced living and that Londoners don’t really talk to each other.
