Compact Darkness by Agnes Thor in Örebro, Sweden

My hometown revisited, re-lived after 5 years away. I keep myself outside of the city; spend my days surrounded by trees, fields, the ever-changing clouds and skies. Some evenings, the sky appears to be painted by Caspar David Friedrich. Some nights I can’t see where I put my feet on the way home, compact darkness, familiar and frightening at the same time. Some nights I find new ways in places I thought I knew like the back of my hand. Sometimes I balance on the fence to the bridge. Most of the time I try to recognize all the things I never saw as beauty before.
