Can you sum up Washington DC?  For people from all around the world, the District is an accessible temporary home with great professional opportunities. (People wear suits – even in the hot summer!)  There are locals too, whose families have lived in Washington for generations.  Countless groups of students travel here to visit the U.S. Capitol, museums and memorials.

Occupation: development

Preoccupation: learning to pour latte art on YouTube and hunting for a go to bubble tea spot in DC…

A perfect meal in your spot? A Korean or Vietnamese feast in the suburbs with my husband. (Dolsot bibimbap at Yechon or Honey Pig Gooldaegee in Annandale, VA; or bun at Eden Center in Falls Church, VA).

A perfect day in Washington DC?  A jog around the Tidal Basin – there are cherry blossoms in the spring.

If someone was visiting, what must they do? Visit the U.S. Botanical Garden for some plant therapy.

What is the best thing about your spot?  Great seasons.

What is the worst?  Long-term Metro construction projects on your line.

Where is your favorite place in the world?  How could I ever pick just one spot?

Who are your three favorite photographers? Jeremy Koreski,  Kate Rutherford,  Layli Samimi
