Can you sum up the place you live? I live in the wet and mysterious Pacific Northwest. Home of Bigfoot and Ivar’s Fish and Chips. This is a great place to live if you love the ocean, nature, big trees, strong coffee, and indie music. I only wish that summer was longer than two weeks.

Occupation: Photographer

A perfect day in the Pacific Northwest? Any day that is sunny and over 60 degrees.

If someone was visiting, what must they do? Visit the San Juan Islands, eat seafood in Seattle, party or see a band on Capitol Hill, experience our local coffee scene.

A perfect meal in Seattle? Anything on the menu at La Medusa in Columbia City (a neighborhood in Seattle.)

What is the best thing about your spot? The beauty of the Pacific Northwest

What is the worst? The rain. It rains about 7 months a year.

A little known fact about where you live? That you will find the occasional Totem Pole in different parts of the city. It seems almost random.

Where is your favorite place in the world? The San Juan Islands in the summer.
