Watching Trees by Cody Cobb in Seattle, Washington, USA

The photos I’ve selected are from walks in my neighborhood of Capitol Hill in Seattle. Within a mile from my house are Volunteer Park, Interlaken Park and the Washington Park Arboretum. These densely forested portals into nature provide me with a temporary escape from civilization. More importantly, they are a reminder of what’s just beyond the city in the true wilderness.
