Cancer Patients React to Hilariously Awful Makeovers

Cancer Patients React to Hilariously Awful Makeovers

“You know what I miss the most? Being carefree.”

Here is the sentence that inspired the if only for a second project.

June 17th, 2013 , the Mimi Foundation in collaboration with Leo Burnett France, invited 20 cancer patients to participate in a unique makeover experience. This film shows the adventure.

Every photo is followed by a caption, the date and the time the photo was taken and most importantly, the exact second when the person forgot about their disease. Going through this book, the reader is carried away by laughter, giggles and carefree faces. Readers will even be surprised to have on their own faces… a smile. This is the heart of the idea of the “If only for a second ” project, to spread smiles and happiness.

A limited edition book is available here.

This is the most heartwarming project we have seen in a long time. The world could use some more of this! Well done Leo Burnett & Mimi Foundation!
