Capitol Hill by Caitlin Teal Price in Washington, DC, USA

Even though this image was taken in DC, I am not sure that it relates to the city directly.  This image is more of a fantasy of mine – something that I wanted to see, rather than just happened upon seeing.

Name:Caitlin Teal Price

Place you live: Washington, DC

Place your photo was taken: On Capitol Hill, under the freeway overpass.

Can you sum up DC?  DC is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve seen, and for me it’s more like a small town than a big city.

Occupation: Photographer

Preoccupation: My work and walking

A perfect day in DC? Riding the little red bikes around on a 70 degree day, followed by a glass or two of wine.

If someone was visiting, what must they do? Visit the National Gallery of Art and the Portrait Gallery –  then go eat at one of the billion new restaurants popping up.

A perfect meal in DC? Sashimi with Peter at Sushi-Ko in Glover Park.

What is the best thing about your spot? The Spring, the Fall and my family.

What is the worst? There aren’t enough artist’s actually living here.

A little known fact about where you live? DC is 10 miles wide and 20% of it is made up of parks

Where is your favorite place in the world? I could never pick just one.
