Can you sum up Nashville? A vibrant and creative city in the heart of the South. Charming yet eclectic and growing SO fast.
What is a perfect day in Nashville? Waking up and grabbing brunch at a favorite breakfast spot, then either take a long drive through the countryside while blasting some favorite tunes or spending a few hours at our neighborhood park, laying on a blanket and sharing a picnic. Ending the evening cozied up on the couch with a good movie and my husband, is the perfect way to end the day. I’m not tough to please!
If Nashville was a person or character who would it be and why? I don’t think I could even pick a character! The city is so different and is always evolving. Everyone is so unique as well — something I love about Nashville.
How long have you been using Instagram? Oh gosh, maybe 4+ years? Who knows! haha.
Do you shoot with your phone or other cameras or both? 90% my phone and every now and then a photo from my digital camera.
What is your editing process? Nothing too crazy, I love using VSCO Cam and Afterlight.
Has Instagram/phoneography affected how you shoot? Instagram is a pretty inspiring space and I’m constantly being inspired with photography. I’m not a professional photographer whatsoever, but I love seeing other people’s perspectives and what they find beautiful.
Can you give a couple tips to aspiring Instagram photographers? Shoot what you love and don’t try to mimic others. Find your own unique style and have fun with it!

City House – everything is to die for.
Best place to drink:
Sinema – such a beautiful spot! Head to the bar upstairs.
Best outdoor activity:
Hiking to one of the falls! Either Cummins or Greeter Falls. Make a fun day of it and pack a picnic.
Must do:
Stay in an Airbnb (not a hotel!), go on a food tour – there are SO many fantastic eats in Nashvillle, walk around the 12th South neighborhood, explore historic Downtown Franklin and Leipers Fork.
Local tip:
Don’t be shy to ask the locals for tips on where to eat or visit! Nashville is home to some of the friendliest folks.
