Lost in the Expanse by Sergey Klyuchnikov in Voronezh, Russia

Voronezh is a typical, fairly large city, lost in the expanse of Russia, who wants to become even bigger. It seems to be compact in the center, but stretched out on the edges.

Name:Sergey Klyuchnikov

Place your photo was taken: around Voronezh

Occupation: Engineer/photographer

Preoccupation: Movies and literature

A perfect day in Voronezh? In the fog, when you can only see the dark silhouettes of houses. You can not see the people who are there, but you can hear their footsteps and that’s all they say.

If someone was visiting, what must they do? The central street of our city called the “Prospectus of Revolution.” On a warm summer evening, take a walk, listen to the street musicians, meet lovely and cheerful people. Look out sometimes there are drunk and angry people.

A perfect meal in the place you call home? Patty with cottage cheese (called “Sochnik”) in the fast-food kiosks “Russian appetite.” This stand can be found in any part of the town.

What is the best thing about your spot? I like to walk in an abandoned apple garden, which is not far from my house.

What is the worst? The supermarket

A little known fact about where you live? Voronezh is the capital of the agricultural region of Russia.

Where is your favorite place in the world? I haven’t been there yet.

Who are your three favorite photographers? I’ve always been more impressed by the movies.
