The weekend should to be a happy time for children, but students in countryside of Yunnan are always unhappy and lonely on the weekend. For the sake of concentrating resources for education, the government has closed lots of schools in poor countryside. So the children must walk a long way to go to school. They often have to live in the school from Monday to Friday. It’s hard to make money through farming so many parents go to city to earn a living. So the children are lonely, their hearts are frail. When the weekend comes what’s waiting for them is not the love of parents but an empty house.
