A perfect day in Stuttgart? Hanging around in the cafés which are full of retired people, drinking a small pot of coffee – the so called “Kännchen Kaffee” – and a beer from one of the local breweries.

A perfect meal? I am a vegetarian in the meanwhile, but I would say that the “Zwiebelrostbraten” (fried beef and onions in gravy) is the best and most typical meal in this region.

A little known fact about where you live? German artist and enfant terrible Martin Kippenberger lived some time in Stuttgart.
