Chocolate Underneath My Tree by Patrick Tobin in New York City, NY, USA

Central Park is located a few blocks east of us and the spot where this was taken is maybe my favorite part of the park. It’s called the Arthur Ross Pinetum, a grouping of evergreen trees.

Name:Patrick Tobin

Place you live: New York City, NY

Place your photo was taken: Central Park’s Arthur Ross Pinetum

Can you sum up the place you live in a short paragraph? I currently live on NYC’s Upper West Side with my fiancee. It is a residential neighborhood, always busy but never chaotic or noisy. We live in an apartment facing on Broadway. Everything you could possibly need or want is nearby.

Occupation: Marketing/Online Sales for the Impossible Project‘s US Office

Preoccupation: Instant Film

What is a perfect day in NYC? My perfect day would be much like the day on which I took the above photo. A day with a lot of sun and warmer temperatures where I’m free to walk around the city with a few cameras.

A perfect meal in NYC? Pulled Pork sandwich at Virgil’s in Times Square

What is the best thing about your spot? There’s always something going on.

What is the worst? Too many people.

Where is your favorite place in the world? I really love the White Mountains in New Hampshire, spent many summers there as a kid. It’s very comforting, quiet, beautiful, and things move a lot more slowly.
